Title: need some good bass from some 6x9's

As above. I have a good amp (farenheit) just need some good 6x9 on shelf as i have taken my subs out. Is it worth it? Its going into my mk3

You are never gonna get good bass just from 6x9s. 7x10s a little better but just chuck one sub back in with them. If its 4 channel amp run one set in bridged and job done. Also the fronts are crap in mk3s as standard so what are your running up there? Standard and the 6x9s will just drown them out.

I have jbl 2way at front and jbl comps in back with power acoustic tweeters, 2 in dash and 2 in rear doors. Took my 2x farenheit 12" subs out as its 1 huge box that takes all the space up in the boot (very heavy bass) & i love it. Took them out as i have to put shopping in boot and daughters pram in there lol

Have you not thought about a custom fibre glass wheel arch enclosure? Could be an answer? MKV install in this section by Hurdy has a good walk thru. I had 7x10s on a shelf in my old mk3 but nothing like my 15" Kicker.  :grin:

Joys of kids tho. My current car had the hound on a lot too so between em no room either  :sad:
