Good Afternoon guys,
just after a lot of advice...
I'm wanting a Mk4 Golf GT TDI 130... I've done a little research and this seems to be the better one for my needs. but as always making it my own and better than standard, so here are my wants/questions.
1. Multi function display (do these mainly only come on the GT's?) - also regarding this, I've read you can get the display to show MTE rather than just MPG... how is this done and does this get rid of the MPG read out?
2. Eventually look at a remap... (once again I've read, that you should upgrade your clutch and DMF - what is recommended as an upgrade clutch and DMF?)
3. EGR delete - will a plate do or do you need something that also takes care of the electronic side too?... either way what is suggested?
4. I don't want my MPG to suffer by the mods i do, so are the few things i want to do going to be ok?...
That's just a few things to kinda get me started... what should i be looking out for car wise to get these? anything else suggested?... I'm not bothered about the body, mainly just whats under the bonnet... I've also looked into 'terraclean' has anyone tried this and does it make an difference?
all help is appreciated...

Leave the clutch untill after a remap and see if it's ok, chances are it will be fine.
E.G.R delete, easiest thing to do is just buy a kit and take the yucky old one off. You will probanly get an engine management light but that can be mapped out.
Anyone with vagcom can get you miles to empty on your dash.
Mpg will not suffer at all.

Even if the clutch goes a standard one will be fine unless you are going for more than just a remap. Clutches last on how you drive and how the power is delivered.

I might know someone with a brand new EGR delete for the 130pd!
