Title: Turbo on its way out?
Post by: mk3tony on 17 March 2013, 09:50
Hi guys,
My AUM is approx 93k Rtech stage 1. Since the snow a few days ago my car doesn't feel right. It seems to be really laggy, I can feel the car spool then sort of hold back, while accelerating. It doesn't pull as hard but it does still hit peak psi.

Code reader hasn't picked anything up and maf is genuine Vw and less than a year old. Only thing I can think is turbo on its way out?

Does feel like it has a little misfire when under load. Don't think so, all hoses were changed for silicone last year and not any issues since.

clean all the spark plugs see if that improves it. might just want new plugs. i think if the turbo was going it would possibly be puffing smoke and making a different sound to normal
