Title: A6 handels

Has anyone fitted these to there mk4 on here? If so any pictures of the process? Is the front door or the rear door better to use?

Know it's an old mod but one I really like.

From want I have found out since posting this its just a matter of cutting out the old handle welding in the new one then welding the bar that works the lock in at a different angle.

Ive got them welded into my doors but havent got the mechanism working yet although i did manage to find a pic showing how one person had made up the bar to connect the handle to the door lock. I will post up this pic when i find it on my laptop.

Ive actually got a pair of a6 handles inc some of the surrounding door that im wanting to sell. I bought 4 at first as i was going to do this on my 4 door, this was before i bought the 3 door.

Stylehaus and RAD in Northampton have done plenty of these on many VW's over the years.  Give them a bell for a quote, but be sat down when you get it!

Yea its going to take me a few weeks to save for it. Well into the hundreds

CheshireSport I had a good read of your thread on E38 (cars looking good) and was going to drop you a line about them but the man that's going to do mines is looking full rear doors.

Cheers mate, i ended up buying 3 doors off one car, and a fourth off another (obviously didnt get the drivers door as it had the lock in it).
