Can anyone help me in telling me how to get this out.Ive removed the gearstick gator and the 2 plastic nuts found underneath and the 2 Philips screws at the front end but now im stuck. :huh:

Ok,so ive finally figured out how to get it out but how do I get it out over the gear stick shaft?

Found the answer to my own question and it was the strength of 10 bears. :grin:

Yeah man.Had to shift into 4th and then just wrestle it out.

Whip one of your seats out, takes 5 mins and makes it hell of lot easier and quicker to fit the centre console  :wink:

Whip one of your seats out, takes 5 mins and makes it hell of lot easier and quicker to fit the centre console  :wink:
that's what i'll do i think when i remove mine seats easy enough on the mk3 no side airbag connectors like on my old mk4  :grin:

Hadn't planned on removing mine today but i did  :grin: wasn't to bad i found after removing the screws and plastic nuts pulled the rear section away then pulled Hard! on the handbrake  :laugh: got the front so far then pulled to one side and took the handbrake off and eased it over the gearstick all done
