Title: Loss of power

Whilst overtaking a van today my GTTDi suffered a loss of power, put VAGCOM on and it shows, 16618 Boost Pressure Regulation: Limit Exceeded ( Overboost Condition )
Readiness : N/A
What does this mean ??

Possibly sticky turbo vanes  :sad:

Did you get any smoke out of the back?  Did switching the car off and back on restore the power?

No smoke but after switching off it's now ok, a amte reckons it's probably a leak in the turbo pipes.

Outside chance but if that was the case then cycling the ingnition wouldnt fix the problem
