Khare, most of those games are from the last generation of consoles. Hardly old school.
-
Most of the big classics i remember have been mentioned but i haven't noticed anyone say R-Type, Bubble Bobble or super tennis.
-
On the Amiga, I probably spent more time playing Elite than anything else, ever. Also played Virus and Dungeon Master to death.
At the Arcade is was Gauntlet all the way, where I could make a 10p game last indefinitely. Loved R-Type as well, but wasn't so good at it.
Age of Empires on the PC was very engrossing.
-
Robocop.

Alien Breed (a great amiga game) is available on google play (Android) for less than a quid. it's a good port too :afro:

3.5floppys I should show you my collection of 5.5 floppys :lipsrsealed:
I still got a bag full of tapes for my commodore 64 screech beep stop rewind
-
I sure did. Back in those days there wasn't this fancy broadband inter-web. There were BBS boards but that was way over my head. If you look carefully you can see a couple of graphics cards in there. A Creative Labs Voodoo2 and Geforce 2. Ah the early days of 3d accelerated gaming.
I have Microprose's Gunship on 5.25" floppies kickin around somewhere.
-
Who mentioned C&C?!
Loved Red Alert and Red Alert 2, but came into my own on Tiberian Sun online multiplayer lol
Tried playing it about a year ago and got absolutely destroyed

C&C3 was top notch too, probably the best one. C&C4 dropped the ball hard though, utter crap. As a result I moved over to Starcraft 2 which is closer to a club than an entertainment media you relax after work.
