Title: Mk 3 Gti 8v MFA

Hello, problem with the MFA on my 8v Mk3. Upon inserting the  key the display flashes DEL (or OEL?) for a few seconds before the mileage comes up. Any ideas? should i be worried? I had a MK 2 and the MFA got fried, due I believe to jump starting. Anyone had the same problem?

OEL means oil change due, do a search on the site cos there is somewhere on here someone put how to reset it.

it tells you how to re-set the OEL display in the manual, it quite simple, i think somethink to do with pressing the clock buttons and the other button beneath the spedo!, but check the owners manual
