Title: Got wiper motor (rear) issues..
Post by: hardmonkeys on 14 March 2013, 16:27
Got around to fixing the rear wiper....ended up being a fuse...but...after connecting it all back up,,,the washer still leaks into the boot, after further investigation, I need the back of the nozzle (the bit the washer pipe connects to) is cracked...can this be replaced?? Or is a new motor jobby??

Another question....do I need the wash?? Could I just block off the pipe...and just have the wiper...lol

dont think vw sells the actual part your on about, but think someone replaced theres with some vac hose type stuff sealed with some tigerseal maybe or some glue?

personally more trouble than its worth, 99p grommet from halfords and dewiper it. just remember to block off the hose, or fit the jetta/passat water bottle (cant remember which it is )

Thanks for the replies, I've just blocked the hose off with a bolt...and the wiper works perfect...it'll do for now...
