Title: Black steelies what do you recon?
Post by: Lycara on 30 July 2005, 15:41
Hi peeps I rang up tesco car insurance today and they quoted 159 for some alloys for my golf. So my bf came up wiv the idea of paintin the steelies black. I was just wondering wht you guys thought of the idea as i am not 100% sure.

Just for a laugh, I picked up some 'Chrome' paint from halfrauds the other day for my winter steels. havn't sprayed yet, but it's another option!
I tried the spray in the shop and it looks a real bright spangly silver colour.
