Hi guys my gt tdi 110 has been parked up since january, Im just about to get it back on the road but its developed a fault, the glow light comes on but briefly then when it finally starts it starts flashing and says on the dash engine workshop,
Iv read that it could be the brake pedal switch but im a novice so if anybody has experienced the same or has any ideas let me know please,
Thanks in advance, spoony

That should do it
Equally get someone to look at your brake lights while you apply the pedal

Could it be that simple causing the glow plug issue?

Glow plug flashing + Engine Workshop does usually indicate a faulty brake light switch. It's happened to a few people
Warning icons often have several meanings, not just their main function
