Hi guys
Getting some 18" mk4 R32 wheels to go on my MK4 TDi, just wanted to know how much should i be lowering by about 40mm??
TIA
-
For what though... stance or handling?
-
Stance more than anything
-
40mm will make it look a lot better.

Better, but won't look great.
Here is mine when it was on R32 wheels:

Coilovers all the way down on the rear and about 55mm front

These how much should I lower my car, shall I use coilovers or lowering springs and will my wheels rub threads are starting to irritate me!
-
If i lower by 55mm will i have to do anything else to stop any rubbing or contact etc?
-
Dom, I shall leave this to you
-
maxmc2, if you lower 55mm youll maybe start making the anti roll bar and drive getting cosy with each other
-
Anything over 40mm will probably result in rubbing. Just get an under driveshaft arb and you'll have no worries! :)
Do a search on here..you'll find loads of info.
