Title: Mk4 golf TDi with R32 wheels

Hi guys

Getting some 18" mk4 R32 wheels to go on my MK4 TDi, just wanted to know how much should i be lowering by about 40mm??

Better, but won't look great.

Here is mine when it was on R32 wheels:

Coilovers all the way down on the rear and about 55mm front

These how much should I lower my car, shall I use coilovers or lowering springs and will my wheels rub threads are starting to irritate me!

If i lower by 55mm will i have to do anything else to stop any rubbing or contact etc?

maxmc2, if you lower 55mm youll maybe start making the anti roll bar and drive getting cosy with each other

Anything over 40mm will probably result in rubbing. Just get an under driveshaft arb and you'll have no worries! :)

Do a search on here..you'll find loads of info.  :wink:
