Title: squeak every time i let the brake pedal up or handbrake off ?
Post by: spudboy6 on 12 March 2013, 23:15
when the engine is running , so i press the brake pedal , when i lift my foot up off the pedal i get a squeak ,

same again if i pull the hand brake up and let it down i get a squeak ,

and if i pump the pedal i get a little tune of squeaks , same if i hold the button in on the hand brake and pull it up and down ,

really annoying my now and i always thought this was the brake biast / compisating valve under the rear axle but it went away at one point now its back ,

odd thing is the noise comes from the middle under the car not from a drum asfar as i can tell ,

anyone had any experiences ?

Take the drums off, clean adjust and grease the contact points.

I know this wont help but you could get onto x factor and make a good tune with your brakes
