I've just fitted a boost gauge but not clued up with wires it's got 3 wirers a black, red, orange where it how do I conect them??

There is earth, live and switch....I think haha

Think it is
Black - ground
Red - 12v ( inlet to headlight switch)
Orange - 12v (outlet of headlight switch)

Red > blue/grey wire
orange > not used.

3 wires?? my newsouth came with only two, ground and live  :huh:

i think the third one is to make it brighter when the headlights are on....maybe haha

the live wire goes into the back of dimmer with a splicer on mine and works fine

Can't tell you the name as its smoked screen :) I only payed £5 for it with all the pipes and wires but witch wire goes were?? Pics would be better as I'm a bit silly :)

as its smoked id say connect the orange to the yellow wire (ignition) so you dont need to switch your lights on to see the boost gauge.

+1 this is gonna be a better idea than having it on a switch

I've just put it on a switch at the mo till week end as its freezing out side, orange to the yellow?

yea, if not you will have to switch your lights on to illuminate the gauge.
