Gonna fit my coilovers soon and I just wanted to know what else is needed....
Ie top mounts, bearings, loctite etc as I could use my old bits but due to a rather loud knocking when rocking the steering, going over small lumps and bumps think it'll be best to replace with new but what do I need and where from??
Cheers peeps
-
need as much as you want to replace, youve stated all the things youle proberbly need to replace though, i just did top mount rubbers and bearings.
dont see why youde need loctite though?
-
thought you'd need locktite for the threads?
-
remember there being said somewhere about loctiting something on the shock (joms)
so thats it just top mounts and bearings?
main dealer for them or just the bay?
anyone got the part numbers??
-
Just make sure you do up the bolts and you shouldn't need loctite. I certainly haven't used it for anything to do with a car.
-
As said you'll only need loctite if you're fitting JOMS. You'd be wise to strip the front shocks down and loctite the cap that is prone to leaking
-
Yeah they are joms!!!
Anyone know where the guide is I lost it!!!
Accedently just got some powerflex top mounts :lipsrsealed:
Just gotta get the bearings... Genuine or any suggestions??
-
Egay. The ones I bought haven't done me wrong yet, after 15k.
