yep, deffo scam.

anything with "my client" in it generally is some scammer in south africa. demand a £200 cash deposit delivered by western union then a face to face meeting to hand over the keys, see how far you get

My favourite way of dealing with them is to say that the car is fitted with a colostomy bag and is this the model they are looking for?
They always say yes

Thanks Mix, may consider!

Just got this one now. I asked the other guy to send a cheque for the full amount and when I have the funds in the bank (in full) he can collect the car from my work place (secure police approved airport parking). He can then deliver it to his so called 'client'. lol

One thing to remember is that if someone pays you with a fraudulent cheqe or bankers draft, it can show on your account as ok as it can be a few days after it has cleared before the bank notice that it's a wrongen.  By then the car's gone and you're fooked.

Good point!

I intend to feck around anyway with him. I have to send the log book of to transfer my number plates over so that will take a few weeks, and will highlight any problems.

Such low life people out there.  :undecided:

And here is his reply! I asked who where etc........

Hii Mr Martyn,

Ãƒâ€šÃ‚       Thanks soo much for the mail  and yea just to
let u know that i am not in the position to make call
right now cos my phone dont have the permit to make an
international call.So u dont need to worry once we

station to give u a call. But am really ok with the
details u gave me and its really my taste.

Ãƒâ€šÃ‚       Really just to let u know that as for the
payment,i will be paying with a Certified Uk Cheque or
Bank Draft drwan from a local bank in Uk and as for
the shipping i will handle that myself  by contacting
my
international shipping agent to really handle that for
me.Also can u help me send some pic of it if u can and
if not u dont need to worry urself about that.
 Ãƒâ€šÃ‚
Ãƒâ€šÃ‚        Really I based in Oslo Norway were i work as
a Minner. As for the price i will want u to give me ur
last price.
 Ãƒâ€šÃ‚
Ãƒâ€šÃ‚      If u are ok with me then u can mail me back and
let us conclude on everything today.
 Ãƒâ€šÃ‚
 Ãƒâ€šÃ‚                Thanks soo much.

Keep him going as long as possible  I always have a right laugh with them. A collegue of mine used to run a B&B about 10 years ago and he still gets them emailing him, he strings them along for weeks sending fake meal menus with horrible freaky food on and details of local bizare entertainment. Waste there time as much as possible with the only cost of your entertainment!
