Im haveing a lot of problems with my car
I've changed and cleaned throttle body now it sits at 10.000 revs
Don't know what to do now
-
Going to changed the temperature sensor tomorrow see if it will stop
-
check your SAI as well matey, car when cold will sit high until warm, and do you mean 1000?
-
What engime code have you got? If its an AGU it takes about 50 miles for throttle body to settle after a clean. If its an AUM u need get it relined using vagcom
-
I've got an agu code
-
Just double check you've plugged the electrical cable back in and make sure the throttle cable is sat correctly!
-
It's all plugged in and cable is ok

Changed the temperature sensor
and put my old throttle body back on
Now it is running sweet.
Turns out it was the sensor at fault
