Title: front wishbones

need to replace my wishbones,is it straight forward job or apain in the arse
mk3 16v?

Fairly simple job if your doing just arms is easier and just undoing the three ball joint nuts off the arm and leaving the ball joint in the hub .  If changing everything including balljoint its slightly trickier as will need a chisel to wedge in the hub to remove the ball joint

Balljoints are abit different on a 5 stud (16v), tapered fit with a nut on top. Bit awkward to seperate, but a sharp blow with a hammer or use a balljoint splitter. But as above only required if changing balljoints  :smiley:
