Title: mk2 16v crankcase breather
Post by: sharki786 on 08 March 2013, 20:53
As above. My mate bizzle has a 6v abf mk2 and he was saying to me that its leaking. He rang tps only to find out that they are obsolete. Does anyone know where he could get one from?

Thanks

Does it have to be new, what about a good secondhand one? I'll be able to help with the latter.

That be me, i found one on Ebay not sure if it fit tho as it says for a polo the same year as mine-- but it looked the same. i did find lots of information from people doing a DIY hose using a T copper pipe.

and then there's this that also looks like it fit my car but the price was double the other ones iv seen.

It's the gasket that needs replacing and not the plastic breather? You did used to be able to get the gasket separate.
