Title: ABS light... any rough ideas

Basically, i was only popping out for a short journey and all of a sudden the abs light came on and said abs fault on the dash.... anyone have any idea what this could be...?

i did change the springs all round on the car last weekend and just wonder if i have knocked something or anything, but ive done almost 300 miles since then, so why now?

Could have knocked a sensor and it's worked loose?

Also check that the sensor cable is secured correctly and hasn't been rubbing against anything, when I had my MK3 I has a cable wear through which obviously caused an ABS fault.
