Title: Rear caliper refurb kits and how to?
Post by: Wazzzer on 08 March 2013, 16:55
I'm looking to sort my rear calipers I've got in the shed but before I buy new ones has anyone successfully refurbed their own?

If so what kit did you use and is there a how to anywhere?

I am yet to do this. Have my fronts all shot blasted up and dis assembled - which wasn't tough.

Haven't got around to ordering the kits yet or finding some rears to attempt.

Let me know if you do this before I do

I looked at doing my own 256mms there were some guides but not to clear so just ended up paying for a full refurb from Bigg red. They did a awesome job was really happy for the price

They also sell the complete kit, seals etc to do it your self, from memory about £25, will have to check tho.

biggred are round the corner from me.

256mm rear.

"we can do the rears £129 per pair in Polymer plus £30 per pair for the slider brackets in the matching colours."

hope that helps
