Just done the bypass this morning. Firstly no lumpy issues etc so good. No engine light.
But it feels so different lol. Ive lost that big sort of kick i had. Boost gauge still peaks at 15psi tails off as should etc. But is this normal?
Also noise from the 007 different. Sound more like chatter sounds rather sweet. But again is this normal?
-
i thought any chatter or flutter wasnt a good thing? :undecided:
-
This is it butvi rem a video on here on the 3" exhaust tgread. And his 007 sounded mint. And this defo changed sound
-
dont think it should change the sound of the DV , bypassing the n249 is for better throttle response ,are u sure u done it properly ?
-
Did you leave the one way valve on the vacuum pipe and if so it is round the right way??
-
I left valve on. The arrow on vakve said motor ← so i put valve into the arrow side
-
did you chop any of the hard lines out or have you just bypassed the N249 (just checking as some people say bypass when they have actually deleted it)
I personally did the bypass and it didnt feel right at all, so did the delete
-
Exaxtly too the dot as walkthrough on here. T pieced fpr line to dump valve. And left wiring on vakve. All i have now is the 2 pipes on the other valve that it
-
Just double checked all same as walkthrough. Also both front fans run on when switch car on too.......
So im left with dv top pipe T pieced to the FPR line.
The n249 wired up but nothing else plumbed in.
The other valve 1 pipe goes to the 1 way valve in the motor← side then too inlet manifol
Other pipe goes to the small pipe down right side engine/manifold
Just given it a big drive.
Plus point
Car boosts smooth to about 12-14psi
And has no spiking. And holds boost and slowly tails off as should. Picks up and just seems better BUT
Fans are running non stop both of em
Dumo valve defo sounds different/louder maybe

Above post updated

Looking atvthis looks like fans are a different issue....

Is your coolant temp. sender plugged in and all working?

Yes mate was one of the many new genuine part i replaced. Seen this thing about low speed resistors etc????? Mine does have climate control but air con is defo off
