Title: Power loss and 2 Beeps from the dash help.
Post by: Sonic B0000M on 08 March 2013, 08:09: Was driving down the motorway today at 70 and power dropped, got to an island and 2 beeps sound from behind the dash. 1.8 turbo GTi.

Fuel is just above Red. Engine light has been on but has ran normally before today. Any ideas?

Post by: Sonic B0000M on 08 March 2013, 16:50: Not head gasket. Engine sounds fine. Plus we've plugged her in and seen the fault and also seen the fault by eye. Vacuum hose has split. Can actually here the air coming out.
