Title: should both rad pipes be firm once up to temp

hi guys change my stat last week seems all good i.e no loss of water or power, no over heating temp sits at 90. but after a 30 min run both pipes get firm not rock hard but firm is this just normal or should I be worrying  :undecided:

i'd see a doctor if you can get you pipe rock hard
