I doubt it mate, the blue and yellow have always been available in europe but the UK have to pay a stupid "special order" price to get them, something like £1500~£2000.

Thanks for the pics btw! :afro:

Price on the .de configurator too are silly money for anything more than the standard colours, Rising blue circa €2k option.

Deep Black Pearl I think.

Good Lord some of those colours are expensive!

They do a tungsten silver too which is half way between silver and grey

You can download the brochures too!

I've noticed it looks as if the standard Xennons don't come with the LED DRL, just like the first UK GT car people have had issues with I guess?

Bevs cab is in Tungsten silver and its ace for not showing up the cr@p between washes! This would the colour of my choice all day long, the only criticism is that it don't look that blingy when cleaned?

Has anyone else noticed that those pictures from the configurator don't have fog lights just a honeycome grill? :-\

Edit: just seen that fog lights are a €350 option.

And it seems a lot of stuff is an option on the german site, such as LED tail lights and number plate lights are part of a pack plus it doesn't have nav at all!

Here we go again! ::)

It's starting to become much like BMW.

Hmmmm, SE and GT spec for the win.

Bear in mind that the UK spec GTI should (looking at the VW UK article) have more standard features than the German model does, thankfully.

Asker. Go away and feel up your beemer.

The UK options will be totally different to the German options. I think if you look at the GT spec that will give you a good idea. Optional fog lamps! I don't think so.

Yes, it's nice to feel a superior car rather than a shopping trolly.

You have to pay extra for the manual box over there?!

We know, at least, that Xenons + LED daytime running lights and DAB will be standard over here. Best to wait and see what number the UK Configurator throws up next week.

I dont think you do have to pay extra for the manual. Was just listing it and showing that I wasnt paying for the DSG in that price.

Have you all seen the GTi advert - filmed in Vegas. I think it's pretty cool. Clever VW marketing yet again.
Sorry if this has already been posted - I'm normally on the Mk6 secion.
