I know these are common problems with the 8v, but i'm hoping, nay, praying that someone has had the same problem and has managed to pinpoint it without paying silly money.
I'm running an 8v Anniversary with 45k on the clock. I've always had bother when the engine is warm, trying to cut out coming up to roundabouts etc. Now it cuts out completely and will not start. It managed to fire up after fiddling with the new spark leads, but i had to keep my foot on the gas to keep it going. I don't have either problem starting from cold, so what's the craic?!
Any help would be appreciated, 'cos i don't want to end up driving round in the works ute all the time!

Check your ISV is clean . Check for air leaks on the pipes . Check the Relays .

Also give the 'hotwires' on your air mass meter a gentle clean, fixed it for me after months of woe.

Thought I'd checked the air hoses thoroughly before. Obviously not, found a slit in one of 'em. Replaced it and i'm a happy bunny now! Did the other checks too to be on the safe side, checks out good. Many thanks!
