Title: Traction Control Button
Post by: MK6-Fan on 06 March 2013, 21:22
How do you know if it's 'activated' or not? When I press it, no lights appear on the dash or the button itself doesn't illuminate??

My girlfriend accidently leaned on it the other day & I'm a bit unsure if ESP or whatever it's called is on.  :embarrassed:   :undecided:

If you press and hold it for a second or so yo will see the car with skid marks or EPS off in your driver information system display

When it's off it flashes to show that it's off.

Thanks Jimmy & Buck.

I'll give that a go tomorrow & see if that does the trick.

I had noticed a change in the ride as sometimes when pulling out of a junction (fastish) the rear wheels would sorta skid briefly & the car seemed a bit 'jerky' as it fought to 'take off'.

Checked mine and it says TCS off in the DIS with the yellow warning light inthe dash (car with skids)
