Title: Changing air con to climate ?
Post by: Kelvin1977 on 06 March 2013, 18:17
How easy is it to change from air con to climate control ? I have bought a mk4 Turbo to sell on but to be honest it runs perfect and thinking of keeping it. I guess loom will have to be changed in some way, what else ? :undecided:

Someone enquired about this a few years back..

In a nutshell, would cost a ridiculous amount as you'd have to change all the motors any everything. General consensus is to buy one with it, or just make do

Nearly everything needs changing, not really worth it tbh

I saw a guy on vortex do it, he changed the whole heater box under the dash, plus had to put a bit of loom in. you also have to drain and have the a/c system refilled.

cant find the project though sorry
