cheers guys any help muchly appreciated

To get good Snowfoam you need a lance attachment for your pressure washer. I've got Magifoam snowfoam which is great in an Autobrite lance, a mate of mine also swears by Kleen Freaks foam

Hi, you can run normal shampoo through the ones that come with the pressure washer but it won't produce the the same thick foam a proper snow foam lance can.
Here's a link to some foam lances

You need one with a bottle like this one:

You can use these for pre washing but it will produce very water foam that wont cling to the crap or the car instead of thick shaving cream type foam.

Yep you'll be fine to run ag shampoo through it, can't tell you how effective its going to be as I've never used that shampoo but it will be fine mate.

Have a look at this (http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=294015) review on snowfoams. I have BH auto foam and it seriously removes so much dirt off the car! worth having a look.

Question is, is it any good?

I've never rated foam.
I bought the Autobrite HD 2 years ago with a load of SSP and a bottle of yellowy foam (the next escapes me). The foam is nice and thick and sticks to the paintwork for about 5 mins - but it does bugger all other than make a 2" deep foam pit for me to wade through when actually cleaning the car with a (god forbid I say it) ... sponge.
I still use it though - just because I paid for it. But when it runs out, the lance is going in the bin - big waste of money.
