1989 1.8 Carbed
driving along, rev counter drops to the stop, car dies for a split second, and then its off again.
Stereo stays on as does fan and wiper, etc
any ideas as it only happens once in a blue moon :lipsrsealed:

Would have thought coil/coil connections or ignition switch/ignition relay related?

its been parked next to a vhauxhall for to long the wireing has been contaminated

wouldnt be fuel starvation - rev counter drops instantly :huh:

Its not a chubby right knee knocking the ignition off.........
Seriously, what about the ignition switch I've had this happen to me especially with all my keys flapping about on the end of it :smiley:

after 3 breakdowns its deffo one of these 2 :kiss:

Is the ignition amp the same as the digfant? I'll give you a spare on sunday if so. :smiley:
