Title: Fitting my tt comps
Post by: Mk2_tel on 05 March 2013, 14:57
I have a tdi130 on Coilovers
Is it worth putting spacers on rears or even front or better look?
If so what is the max width spacer I can go before needin longer wheel nuts cheers

Ideally you should use longer bolts with any spacers.

to answer your question any spacer over 5mm will need longer bolts upto 5mm you can use your standard bolts

<5mm standard bolts.
>5mm longer bolts.

as for do they need spacers. i havent got spacers on mine and my tt comps sit flush with the arches.

depends on what look your going for, if your going for the typical "sceen" streched tyres, stupidly low with sh!t handling then yes maybe 5/10mm front and 10/15mm back

Unless there the bolt on hubcentric kind of spacer then you can use your standard wheel nut.
