Hi All,
Yesterday after 2000rpm all the guages would zero once i dipped the clutch everything came back then again at 2000rpm would drop off again
the car starts and drives ok but still the dash is intermittant
i have looked at the battery and it looks like the lid i have put the battery on charge to see if that makes a difference,
recently the dash has started again to be intermittant....last december i had the same problem which was the battery and alternator
cant be the same again could it?
cheers
Ady

When you say all the guages, do you mean the temp & petrol needle sits at zero too?. If so then i think you may need new clocks. Also does it show up an error code? Like in the link below:

If it does then i think your ECU may have had it, But don't quote me on this

Yes all guages......
when i turn the ignition on and the car starts once the led mileometer sets to the mileage then all the dials drop to zero
I looked at the dash last yr but the problem was the battery and alternator
maybe i'm living in hope its not them again £££
when you say error code....sorry this is a 1.4CL pretty bog standard

Get your battery & alternator tested, If they are all good. Then i think your clocks are at fault.
