Hey all im new here to the Golf , im used to having evo's audi tt's lol
what sort of mod's can i do to my mk4 golf gti 2.0 non turbo ?
its also a 3dr
only mods its does have is -
Coilover's
17' 5 spoke rims

Maybe get the 1.8 20v Turbo engine?

to be fair i was planning on waiting till this blows up and then maybe putting in the audi tt 225 engine in ?

Performance wise there won't be much point as you'll have to spend big money to see any gains. I'd go for handling if you want to do anything.

as in like what ? i already have koni coilover's on and ive just brought new vented disc's and pads all round

Strut braces from an s3 to tighten up the front end would be a good shout. Direct fit but obviously you will have to drill around the strut tops.

It's the 8L model which was pretty muh same period as the mk4 golf. They pop up on eBay from time to time around the £50 mark. Try a search 's3 strut brace' see what you get back.

its all options that are flying about at the mo i was thinking of the 225 4wd yes and get it converted there is a garage from round my way which is happy to go ahead with it !
what other Engines can fit in to these ?

You can fit anything if you've got the cash, but most people fit the 1.8t

to be fair tho i did have a 1.8t in my audi tt and never game me any trouble at all in 2yrs of driving , i have vcds so can check for codes and things , and secondly its a 2nd car so if needed to i can afford to have it off the road for a while to have work carried out
