Title: Crashed lampost question

Yesterday i crashed my crappy clio into a lampost, abs didnt work 50/50 braking = 180 skid !

As the car cost me just under 2k and I was not going to claim insurance because of the cost increase( private and for work use )

But would i need to claim because of the lampost ? guessing i do !

Did you report it to the police at the time?? Damage to 'street furniture' has to be reported.

Yes a policeman drove past and sorted everything out. It wasnt a bump, cars a write off.
