I've spotted this.....

Does anyone personally know this car? Is that the ecu management light that's on?
What do you think if the price?
I would be getting it as a second car

I've also seen this.

Unsure on mileage though...

If I was buying a second car, I'd be looking for something more fun, maybe rwd
-
First one:
That's not the CEL light, don't worry. That R32 kit and seats is worth the best part of £2k in itself, if it were me I'd buy it, strip the kit off and make most of the money back.
Second one is tidy, I wouldn't be put off by the mileage. Just check its had a recent cambelt/waterpump change.

Nah, got to be a golf. I'm sad like that. :-D

Don't get me wrong, I love a good golf had three and looking for my forth . But if I was buying a second car, I'd have to have a toy.

Not a fan of the MK4 but the first one looks quite nice act

My reasoning is that eventually I may want to sell the 3 anni. And with a golf as a second car I have a practical car as well as something fun.

2k... Really?? I'd be keeping them anyway to be fair.

Seats fetch about £1k, bumpers, skirts and spoiler will be about another grand...expensive stuff!

Plate will be worth a little bit as well I expect. If you stripped it completely I reckon you could make a fair bit!

Think you're off your rocker bud! What happened to note liking MK4s? Traitor!

I don't like standard mk4's. Annis and r's are the sex
Not as 'the sex' as a sorted 3 though ;-)

For a little more I'd be getting a mk5. Superior in so many ways. Not hating on the 4s but they just don't cut it the same as the 5 but then again I'd also have a mk3 in good condition over the mk4 and my
Missus is running round in my old GTTDI with full Anni kit alloys etc.

Problem is, what is the quality of a mk5 at 5k versus a mk4 at 4k

Sorry Ninja-dude, but I agree with the Murray Mint
If I had a choice of a second car for fun purposes, it would have to be RWD (maybe AWD depending on vehicle). Either way, it would need to put a smile on my face

you bought a dog then if you think the mk3 is better and worth holding on to in comparison. I like the mk3 still but as a daily compared with the mk5. Its like comparing a 50cc chicken chaser with a jap super bike
