Title: Anniversary valance
Post by: DubAndDubber on 27 February 2013, 23:02
Right guys, been on the hunt for a genuine front for about a year. Can't find one, well that's not silly money anyway.

What reps are you guys using and can you provide links. Has to be abs plastic and a pretty good fit!

I had a replica one I got of ebay a while back and it wasnt great to be honest. The finish was abit rough and it had to be screwed on where ever I could get a screw in.In the end I just bought a genuine one which fits perfect.Mine might be up for sale soon just depends if I get the other one im after ...

I know they're mostly crap but that's why I asked for people to provide links to ones that are a good fit.

Front or rear?

Just hunt around in the classifieds, you'll normally get a half decent one for maybe a £100?  :undecided:

I don't want a 4mo! And I've already said front!

I've seen pictures of a lot of cars on here and a lot if them have anni fronts. Wether they're a copy or gen is another question though.

Keep your hair on, my point was you dont see a lot of 2nd hand valances around, be it an anni a 4mo or whatever and you might just have to bite the bullet and get a new one and pay a bit extra.

You wont get much help with an attitude like that.

There's an Anniversary being broken on Edition38, and another on eBay. You're more than likely too late to get the valance, but it's worth a shot.

I learnt my manners a long time ago my friend. You need to learn the art of sarcasm. And most importantly punctuation. I use exclamation marks for a reason.

haha fair enough, thought it would be worth a shot like i said its abs and i believe its developed in poland where most of the abs stuff seems to come from, i think they develop for the main dealers and these over stocks theyre selling, could be wrong but havent heard of any issues relating to fitment etc
