i want a dvd player in my mrk 4 golf and was wondering do i ave get a double din as just brought the car and dnt know much bout da mrk 4s

Yes double din would be a good start Have a look at the pioneer range pretty cheap as well

I've got a JVC KW-AV70BT Double DIN DVD they are good

i'd personally make sure theres no leaks in relation to boost etc mate, you could replace all your vac pipes etc for that much and then consider the headunit, it'll be less of a ball ache then and you wont be kicking yourself on spending 200+ for a headunit when you realise the car needs some tlc

Can get single din ones with screens about the size of a small phone.

can get double din ones with bigger screens.

or could do what my mates done and put a ps3 in his car.

ive got a 7inch single one in my 206 gti but think d din wiv sat nav is what im after really as do bit traveling for my job..   hopefully mite find one on here that somebody is selling..

You can still get single din flip out screens too. Double Din is so much more though and tend to be easier for iPod searching etc.

I rate the Pioneer stuff at the moment and work well with the OEM speakers.
