Keep reading shiz about bypassing some n249 valve. Whats this and what does it do? Wheres it located and how do i bypass it?
-
It regulates the car dumping the air through the dump valve. If you have it you will see a resevoir ontop of your number 4 coil pack. The bypass removes it from the car so that it dumps the charged air as soon as you lift off the throttle. Have a look in the mk4 maintenance section and there is a right up on it. I used 4mm vacuum hose. 2 meters of it to do the bypass. I don know what the benefits are but it dumps charged air better

I think that if the ecu decides to it can open the DV at anytime thus loosing boost so getting rid is best!!!!

what next i wonder.

Not entirely true, but when you get 1 problem you can sure guarantee 20 more will follow.
I have 2 years of problem free ownership, these last 3 months have been hellish.

firstly Kingaz its just a bit of a mess about, i remember one of my noob posts back in the day i think it was "what is a sump?" i had grief off of this lot for a start so dont worry about it pal everyone will get it
and secondly lets pick apart what has been said here:
And you'll never have no problems with a golf
i detect a bit of double negative which what he means is you'll never have no problems with a golf, this to sounds like no matter what you get dragged through in life the golf will always have a problem
words of wisdom
