I want to put VR6 clocks in my VR6 as the previous owner has put 8V gti clocks for some reason.
I believe that 16v and vr clocks have different part numbers, Even though they read 160MPH.
Can any 1 help? I don't want to buy 16v clocks listed as VR6 as I'll be in the same boat
-
I cant help you im afraid mate but what is the difference between the vr and gti clocks if they both read 160mph?
-
Lol, well the VR6 clocks are setup different as it's a 6 cylinder engine and likewise the GTI is a 4 cylinder.
And the 16V gti red lines at 7RPM where as the VR red lines at 6RPM.
-
difference is in how the rev counter works.... 4 and 6 cylinders make it....
spare part number is:
1H0919930GX
-X for ones that are factory fitted
-
Oh I see lol
This is my first vw and im learning something new everyday
