Title: Instrument cluster
Post by: Perryd84 on 25 February 2013, 09:57
I have a 1999 AGU 1.8t GTI and the instrument cluster does not have the LCD display in the center of the console which the later 2000 upwards models do.
I'm thinking of fitting a cluster off of an anni/Bora sport but want to know if anyone has done this and the LCD display works correctly??
I have vagcom and will be able to code it but want to know if it will work with my 99 AGU engine before I waste my money?

Been and done this, look in my project thread for more info. You'll need VAG TACHO as well as VAG COM to code the clocks in. Also the wiper stalk with control buttons, outside temp sensor, some wires and a bit of patience. But yes it can be done
