I haven't had any experience with these but I have heard of eBay dv's leaking at the threads.
In most cases you get what you pay for buy can't 100% say the same for these.

I wouldnt be buying cheap on something like this, better to get a second hand Forge 007p rather than a new POS! I havent used this one so can only speculate on its function and reliabilty

I have one of these on my LCR

Build quality seems just as good as the forge one if I'm honest

I bought a temp sender off eBay £6 delivered, compared side by side to the £36 one from VW looks identical, difference is £6 eBay one lasted about 5 minutes

Whilst I agree with you on the sensors, There are other things that are hugely overpriced.

Look at the 007p, Why does it cost so much? There is nothing electrical inside.

Its just metal with a couple of O rings. They are making a huge profit on them. I know they are good but its also possible that then cheaper versions are just as good as they are quite basic in terms of things.

To open up a can of worms, according to Bill@Badger5's research all after market DV's leak to some extent.

He says the standard DV is the only one that doesn't leak, Albeit, it has to be in good condition and is also suitable
for mapped cars.
