Title: Car seems to feel like its skipping across the road!
Post by: toby2can on 24 February 2013, 15:22
as above, when i go around corners an the road is a bit rough the car feels like it skips across the road an also when going along straight if the road is rough like most of our roads are it just does feel right. ive changed all wishbone bushes an tie rods, tie rod ends, arb bushes an the top mounts seemed ok. running standard gti suspension. car is 52 plate with 80,000 miles, standard 16" gti wheels 205/55/16 tyres all good. tracking, caster an camber all been done. im at a loss on what to do next!! anyone got any ideas?

When you replaced the wishbones, drop links and so on, what did you replace them with?
OE stuff or pattern parts from Euro car or similar?
