Title: OEM MK5 Projector headlights playing up?!

Like title states playing up on main beam they both flash on and off then after a while the lights turn off all together? Wont just stay on  :huh: anyone had any simular issues or heard of this happening before?

Could be the bulbs or ignitor playing up

Best get it scanned with VAGCOM to determine what's up before spending your hard earned  :smiley:

Ye but before getting it scanned just wondering if anybodys had this issue? As driving on sidelights isnt cool when youve got projectors :grin:

Is it definitely both lights that flash on or off?

I had a similar issue on my Audi but only one side flickered.  Swapped the bulbs over and the problem moved so it was the bulb

Hmm that could be ignitor or ballast mate  :undecided:  Strange they both go mind...

Ye i know they worked fine then few hours later turn the car on and this happened :undecided:
