Title: resetting mileometer

Hi my wife tried to reset her mileometer back to 0 on her Mk4 gti the other day but nothing happened i have also tried today and had no luck any ideas??

Hmmmm weird as it sounds is it being done with ignition on? Also you could use the MFA function switch instead

tried it on and off what is the MFA function switch?

The MFA is the function controlled by the buttons on the wiper stalk

Hi yes its a GTI and pressed the MFA and it reset's the trip computer but not the mileometer
