Title: Break or scrap??
Post by: RFC84 on 22 February 2013, 21:25
I'm finally saying bye to my mk3

It's a red 5 door 16v, totally standard - apart from 30mm springs. It's now done 196k! It's taxed and mot'd till may but now have a new car so it's gotta go. It's got quite tatty, various rust spots & both sills have rotted so would need welded. Last 12 months - new clutch, battery, dizzy cap, leather steering wheel with red stitching someone might want to buy.

I'll prob get £120-150 scrap but thought I'd ask u guys if its worth breaking??

Cheers

It all depends whether how much you are attached to the vehicle. If you do decide to break, I need some bits for my red 16v. Where abouts in Northamptonshire are you located?
