right a full 16V engine box loom clocks and aux bits is up for sale in my area and i want to stick this in to my 1.8 ADZ 8V ,
i have read the conversion thread and now know that i have cable box and 16v is hydro , now talk is said of a conversion pipe but would that still need a new pedal box ? ,
or the seat ibiza 16 clutch set up with 02A box i think ,
so whats my best and easiest option to go for if i do it ?
i might run the 16V engine on my 8V box for a while as i think this fits
just looking for some guidance on best and cheapest option for me to go down ?
sorry if this has been covered loads

You can run it on your 8v box (they are not as weak as most folk think) but ratio's will be out and not properly suited to the ABF
Best off fitting the box on the ABF after checking it out
Also I would be aware that the diff on the Mk3 is the weak spot, worth checking before fitting the engine.

Just use the ABF box and convert to hydraulic if yours is later the pedal box should be the same.

It's a may 1996.
If pedal box is the same would it e easy as just getting hydro bits from one in a scrap yard ?
