How do i up the boost? Whats the standard boost?
-
You need a remap to increase the boost, it is the only safe way.
-
bleed valve..... lol
-
Yeah i heard bleed valve.. but if u whack the boost up too much does it stop the car runnin properly? Like on my old escort if u went above 18psi it wud just miss its tits off. Where as my r5 ran 30ps+ and that was fine. Escory had a bleed valve., r5 was done with the actuator

i was told you could safely put it up abit not much, to much then bye bye turbo i think :\
-
If you turn it up too much your engine won't run properly as it will have melted...

On a serious note an MBC (master boost controller) is at best something you don't want to use (seeing as you don't know what one is) at worst you'll end up with a knackered engine.
You can increase the boost by having the car mapped, but have a look around so you know how much work is needed before a map and also parts needed before a map.
My ARZ at stage one boosted to just over 1 bar, stage 2 just over 1.5 bar (23 psi)
You only need a few mods for a stage 1 but quite a few for stage 2

Thanks mate. Will look more into it come next payday..
