Title: New and looking for a Golf TDI

Hi Guys, recently sold my Audi TT and now looking for a Golf.

Due to the car been used by air hostess Mrs it will need to be a diesel and due to her young age (22) it will have to be quite standard. I went to view a 2005 GT TDI today, after driving from Blackpool to Nottingham it turned out not even to be the same car as in the picture, this along with dodgy service history equals one wasted day!!!

I have always been a big user of forums from MINI (260 BHP JCW) to my latest Audi TT.

I have £5000ish to play with, I have also been looking at 207's as I like the GT TDi model :).
