Title: Vertorama
Post by: TheRaven on 21 February 2013, 16:49
This is the North Stafford Hotel in Stoke on Trent, opposite Stoke Train Station.

The shot is a vertorama taken with three shots.

Could you not get far enough back from the building to get the whole thing in one shot?
If you can't, fair enough, but otherwise, I'm not sure I see the point.

No, not at all, there is a statue, I stood on the base of that, then a road and then the train station. Not enough room at all! Only just got it in width ways at 18mm!

Soon someone will invent the "widescreen tall" tv, where they add extra bits to the top and bottom to get more in. Oh wait a minute that would be 4:3 again. Ahh but then we could have "widescreen tall extra wide" back to 16:9 again Doh.

Fair enough. I did wonder if that was the case.

The only thing detracting thing for me is the noisy clouds.
