Hi guys.
My clutch pedal sits slightly higher than the brake pedal
(http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w287/l111kss/0a6c4cc1427620e76319f655e6ac76f8.jpg)
and the clutch bites really high on the pedal travel.
This is my clutch cable

is this a manual or automatic adjustment cable?
If its a manual, how do I adjust it so the clutch bites lower down the pedal movement?
regards

Thats a manual clutch cable...
To adjust undo the bolt at the bottom of the white bit and twist it accordingly and re-tighten the nut when happy!
-
dont mean to sound like a total div, but which way will tighten it (lower the biting point)?
-
TBH Can't remember but one way tightens it and the other loosen's it... ;)

The gap between the bottom of the adjusting sleeve (the white bit) and the base of the bracket (where the rubber grommet is) should be 12mm. Anti-clockwise to loosen the nut and turn the sleeve.

thanks, i'll give it a go tomorrow
so if the gap between the white bit and the base is shortened will that tighten the clutch?
-
make the gap between the "white bit" and the....."bottom bit" wider. That should bring the clutch back down.

do I need to put the clutch pedal under any load to adjust the cable?

No. If after setting the right gap there is too much play or the pedal is too high consider replacing the cable.
